Day 1-3: Discovering your ideal client and offerings

In this first week, we're going to get really clear on our ideal clients and how that feeds into our messaging and the services that we offer.

There's often a temptation to jump straight in with the creative stuff - fonts, colours etc, but this foundational work is critical to the success of your website.

Day 3-6: Branding, Colours & Fonts

We're getting into the fun stuff!  We're going to get our thoughts together around your branding so you can create a brand and a website which truly reflects you. We'll be looking at your brand values, fonts and colours.

Day 7-10: Setting up your workspace in WordPress

This is where the rubber hits the road. We're going to start to piece together what you have worked on so far, and set up your workspace in WordPress.

We're also going to create your holding page.

Day 16: Your About Page

This week we’ll be working on creating your about page which is often a difficulty one for us to craft the content for as we are so close to our own story.

We’re going to look at ways to create  a simple but effective about page which doesn’t hold us back.

Day 17: Services Page

Your services page is unlikely to be the first page on your website that a visitor lands, but it may be the one that converts them from a visitor to a client, so it's really critical that you structure this page correctly.

Day 18: Setting up your header, logo and navigational links

Your services page is unlikely to be the first page on your website that a visitor lands, but it may be the one that converts them from a visitor to a client, so it's really critical that you structure this page correctly.

Day 19-20: Blogging

Website Self-Audit Checklist

The main goal for you to build a website is to generate leads. But to make sure it is possible, you need to ensure that you are topping up the maintenance of your website to keep it in tip-top shape and performing at the top of its game.

To do that, I have created a checklist of tasks that you can use to keep yourself on track when you’re checking through your website.

The checklist covers the design, purpose, content, SEO, marketing, and security of your website.
